Ancient Elvish Singing Stones

Work done for a level oriented project during Efflam Mercier's Environment for game course. The Mana Forest in the level was a sacred place of worship for the elvish society. Early members of the elf settlement created architecture throughout the forest that players would come a cross and interact with.

The ancient elves were inspired by the wind of the Mana Forest. They carved singing stones infused with magic that produced sounds that represented the history of their people. The stones show signs of age, they are sturdy and largely intact but very old, at this point the elves prioritized magical craft over ornamental craft. My goal was to create architecture that added to the level in an interesting way, I wanted to incorporate sound design as an element that could go with this level.
